tagged me in a meme wherein I'm supposed to list 8 things about myself others may or may not know, then tag eight people to do the same. I don't tag, which means I've broken three out of five of Da Rules, but anyone who is so inclined, have at it.

1. I am the mother of triplets.
2. I was on my high school ski team (slalom & giant slalom) even though I am quite possibly the world's suckiest skier EVER. My job was just to finish, no matter how slowly I did so, so the team wouldn't disqualify if too many of our more... adventurous skiers DQ'd.
3. In the 80s, when the big thing with high school marching bands were bass guitars, my job was to push the big cart with the bass amp.
4. I later moved up to the drumline, playing both cymbals and bass drum. Bass drum is the Best. Marching Band. Instrument. EVER. I still miss it 20 years later.
5. My first ever ship was the Bionic Woman and the Six Million Dollar Man. I was seven. Even at that age, I was All. About. The Ships. Not much has changed.
6. My first ever fanfic was for Wonder Woman (the Lynda Carter TV version). I had no idea there were other people in the world who wrote about TV shows, movies, books, etc. for fun.
7. My first fanfic I ever shared with others was for Star Wars. It was a bad Mary Sue fic that featured a long-lost triplet sister for Luke and Leia. I wrote this one year BEFORE I became pregnant with triplets.
8. I used to work at a school for the Deaf and Blind. I taught totally blind kids to edit video. Turns out they taught me FAR more than I ever taught them.
